David Parnes is widely recognized as one of the leading figures in Los Angeles luxury real estate, renowned for representing some of the most significant estates and record breaking transactions in the country. In 2026, David was ranked the #6 individual real estate agent in the United States by sales volume, #2 in Los Angeles and #3 in California according to RealTrends Verified. Combining a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester with an early career in finance, David brings strategic insight, analytical rigor and sophisticated negotiation to every transaction, complemented by a lifelong passion for architecture, design and residential development.
David rose to international prominence through Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and as co founder of Bond Street Partners, which was ranked the #1 real estate team in the United States, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills by The Wall Street Journal RealTrends. Over the course of his career, he has personally closed over $6 billion in residential sales, including three of the most iconic transactions in Bel Air and Holmby Hills, each exceeding $100 million. These include the legendary $120 million sale of The Manor, which established the record for the highest residential sale in Los Angeles County and California, the $110 million sale of a Bel Air estate, the highest priced residential transaction in Los Angeles in 2025, and the landmark $145 million sale of a Holmby Hills estate. His record breaking $72.5 million sale in Beverly Hills remains one of the city’s defining transactions.
Now a Principal at Carolwood Estates, David continues to advise many of the world’s most discerning buyers, sellers and developers across Los Angeles’ most prestigious neighborhoods. In addition to his brokerage career, he has developed, financed and overseen more than $200 million in residential projects, giving him a builder’s perspective that few agents possess. His firsthand understanding of design, construction, land acquisition and development allows him to provide clients with strategic advice that extends far beyond the transaction itself.
Building has always been David’s greatest passion, and that perspective continues to shape the way he evaluates opportunities, advises clients and represents some of the city’s most exceptional homes.
